Educational Background
My academic journey began at Agriculture University Faisalabad, where I pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture. During my time there, I gained a solid foundation in plant biology, soil science, pest management, and sustainable agricultural practices. The rigorous curriculum and hands-on training provided me with the skills and knowledge necessary to excel in the field of horticulture.
Professional Experience
After completing my degree, I had the privilege of working with the Punjab Horticulture Authority for three years. During this time, I was involved in various projects aimed at enhancing urban green spaces, promoting sustainable landscaping practices, and improving plant health through innovative techniques. This experience allowed me to apply my academic knowledge to real-world scenarios, further honing my skills in plant care and cultivation.
My journey then led me to the Ayub Agricultural Research Institute, where I conducted two years of research on planting and cultivation methods. This research focused on developing and testing new techniques to improve crop yields, enhance plant resistance to diseases, and optimize resource use. The findings from this research have been instrumental in advancing horticultural practices and have significantly contributed to the body of knowledge in this field.
Currently, I am associated with the Defence Housing Authority Horticulture Department, where I continue to apply my expertise in managing and beautifying green spaces. My role involves overseeing landscaping projects, implementing sustainable horticultural practices, and educating the community on the importance of plant care and conservation.
